Rebecca S. Trouse, MA, LPC, NCC, BCPCC, CHAIS (Cand.)
Rebecca is a fully Licensed Professional Counselor who holds national and international board certifications in counseling. She has a Master’s degree in Counseling from Oakland University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Rochester College. She has completed First-responder Chaplain training and ministerial schooling. Additionally, she has specialized training and experience with issues relating to relationships and significant grief/loss.
Additionally, she is currently earning a Certified Human Animal Intervention Specialist (CHAIS) credential through the Oakland University School of Nursing. Rebecca continuously updates her counseling skills by attending professional workshops, seminars, and classes.

Rebecca maintains a private counseling practice in beautiful Downtown Rochester, Michigan, and serves clients throughout the Metropolitan Detroit area. In addition to counseling, Rebecca is a Professor of Psychology at Rochester College, serves as Pastoral Care Director (Grief Ministry) at her church, and is a Chairperson for a Preferred Client Network group through the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce. In her free time, she loves to drink coffee in the mornings, take long walks on the beach, grow flowers, paint, and bake amazing desserts.
